There are many considerations to think about while pondering which youth baseball bat is just right for me.  A light weight baseball bat is much easier to control, and you can hit a baseball harder and farther with a light weight baseball bat than with a heavy bat because you can swing a light weight bat much faster. Due to this clear fact the overwhelming trend has been to light weight baseball bats. In fact a case in point, the National Collegiate Athletic Association and high school reviewing sports groups have rules prohibiting the use of baseball bats from being more than three ounces lighter in weight than the length of the bat in inches. This was done primarily for safety reasons.
